Every Thursday evening, from 5-6pm, Grey Lee hosts the “Ecology Hour” for the 4th and 5th grade students. Grey is the Community Green Advocate at Castle Square. Part of his job is to teach everyone about ecological issues. These include the water and carbon cycles, pollution issues, wildlife issues, and resource consumption issues. Recently, he talked to the youngsters about the “ecological footprint” concept. He has also explained the construction project, or as it is more properly described, the Deep Energy Retrofit project.
